LITTLE MIAMI CANOE TRIP - $ 125.00
June 27-29, 2014.
The Little Miami river was the first river in the United States to be designated as a national wild and scenic river. Meandering through southern Ohio it is a small playful river that's fun to paddle while hidden in nature's beauty not far from large cities.
We will be leaving on Friday morning June 27 at 8:00 a.m. We'll be driving down to Caesar Creek State Park near Waynesville, Ohio where we will be camping both Friday and Saturday nights.
Scouts can elect to canoe or kayak the river, both are available.
We will be canoeing/kayaking a section of the Little Miami River on Saturday which will take us into the afternoon. After our paddling is done we will return to the state park where they have a nice swimming beach to enjoy. Afterwards we will cook our dinner and enjoy the rest of the day.
Sunday morning after a cooked breakfast, we will visit the Air Force Museum, the largest air and space museum in the world. We will spend a few hours touring the museum before returning home.
